Just 20 years ago, a visitor to The Maudlins, Naas, would have found themselves in farmland.
Today, it is a major hub for Ireland’s consumer foods industry and the long-time headquarters for Dawn Farms. As our business has grown, so too has the area around us - both as a business park and thriving suburban community. In this changed environment, we are conscious of our role as an employer, a neighbour and a major contributor to the local economy.
Our approach is to give back to the communities in which we are based. For example we support our home town Naas in the national Tidy Towns competition, with a tree planting and landscaping programme and local sponsorships.
We have long standing relationships with The Irish Business & Employers’ Confederation (IBEC), Bord Bia (The Irish Food Board) and Enterprise Ireland. We are founding members of The Nutrition and Health Foundation, (NHF) and sponsors of the Newman Fellowship in food safety in University College Dublin, (UCD).
We foster strong links with the education institutes of Ireland such as Dublin Institute of Technology and School of Culinary Arts in Dublin for Graduate placement and recruitment.
